SIGNIFICANCE OF NATIONAL FLAG THAT WE MUST KNOW

The Flag of India, adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 22 July, 1947, is the symbol of our nation's freedom and sovereignty. The flag was accepted as the national flag of the Dominion of India between 15 August 1947 and 26 January 1950. Display of the flag of India is regulated by the Indian flag code.The flag of India is a horizontal tricolor with the ratio of the length to the width 2:3. The flag has deep saffron at the top, white in between and green at the bottom. A navy blue color wheel, having 24 spokes, occupies place at the center of the white band.
